Retroactive Records Management Records management and archive solutions are only useful for data generated from the time they are launched. Historical data is typically not included because it is archived off the network onto backup tapes and is very difficult and expensive to access. Therefore, historical electronically stored information containing valuable business records is neglected. This presentation outlines a new approach for collecting and organizing historical data to make it accessible via your archive system. Access to this historical data allows more informed decisions to be made quickly based on stored knowledge.
